ACMT Course – Apple Certified Mac Technician

£2,450.00

ACMT has gone — but you can still learn Mac repair

Apple officially retired the public ACMT course on May 19, 2020. The good news is, we have a replacement: the Amsys mac Technician Workshop. This Apple mac repair course provides all the skills you need to get started as an Apple mac repair technician.

About the ACMT Course 2019

Learn how to repair Apple Mac hardware and become an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) with Apple’s approved training course for the UK and Ireland. Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) certification verifies your ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repair of both desktop and portable Macs, such as iMac and MacBook Pro.

Apple Certified Macintosh Technician 2019 (ACMT) is the latest version of the official Apple seven-day course and certification for all engineers who want to repair Apple Macs. The ACMT course covers four days. The course has the Apple Service Fundamentals three-day course and the Apple Service Fundamentals exam as prerequisites. For this reason our Apple mac technician training includes both courses in one convenient bundle. You can find out a little more about the ACMT course content below. You need to take both, so we don’t offer them separately.

The course is a mixture of leader-led theory with comprehensive and extensive hands-on practicals, including take-apart sessions on the latest Apple desktop and portable hardware.

Important: The ACMT certification by itself does not allow a certified Apple Mac technician to order Apple parts. Apple parts are ordered via the GSX system, which only AASP’s and Self Certified Repair centres have access to. Information on becoming authorised for servicing Apple products can be found here.

ACMT Course Prerequisites

Some basic knowledge of using a computer (macOS preferred)

If you’re in any doubt about your suitability for the ACMT course, please call our training pros on (+44) 0203 507 1728. We’ll be pleased to discuss your training needs in more detail.
